The Charter Township of Flushing Election Commission as determined to temporarily opt out of the Special School Election for Montrose Schools, and consolidate precincts with Montrose Township, on November 7, 2023.

A copy of Resolution 23-02E Resolution to temporarily opt out of a Special School Election for Montrose Schools is available online at www.flushingtwp.com or upon request at the Township Hall.
To register to vote, you must be a U.S. citizen, at least 18 years of age by Election Day, not currently serving a sentence in jail or prison, and a resident of Michigan and the city or township where you are registering to vote for at least 30 days before Election Day. For more information, please visit the Secretary of State website, or contact the Township Clerk’s Office.
Registering to vote 15 or more days before an election?
Register at these locations:
- Any Secretary of State branch office
- Flushing Township Clerk’s office
- A designated state agency
- By U.S. mail (must be postmarked or delivered no later than 15 days before Election Day)
Registering to vote 14 or fewer days before an election, including Election Day?
You must register in person at the Flushing Township Clerk’s office (residency verification required). Voters who register at the Township Clerk’s Office on Election day can receive a ballot and vote that day.

With the passage of Proposal 2018-3, citizens can register to vote with their county clerk, city or township clerk, at branch office of the Secretary of State or state agency that provides public assistance, by mail, or online until 2 weeks before the election.
