Flushing Township Nature Park hosts many special events throughout the year.
Below is a list of the events and their approximate times of the year.  Look
for updates on these events as the time grows near.

 

Natures Halloween

Last Saturday in October

This family fun and educational event highlights the tricks and treats of
nature.  Come learn about spooky creatures, like bats, coyotes, snakes and
spiders; and find out how important they are to humans and the environment.

Maple Syrup Program

Late April

FTNP taps Sugar Maple Trees and collects the sap, which is then boiled in
the park to make pure maple syrup.  Come learn how the process is done, the
history of maple syrup and maple sugar and taste some of our own syrup.

 

Fresh Water Forever

First Saturday in August

Come learn and have fun with eater, the most precious resource on earth.
Lots of fun activities and games that emphasize the importance of fresh
water quality and conservation.
